A little shop by the seashore for babies, kids, and their kooky parents.
We are fortunate to call the beautiful surf town of Tofino, Canada our home. There is no greater playground for kids than our wide open beaches, rolling waves, mysterious tide pools, and enchanting coastal rain forests.
Locals like to say their kids are 'free range', and we wanted to create a shop where these wild little ones could find everything they need for their daily outdoor adventures, while looking great and feeling stoked about supporting the planet.

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS
We started Kid & Kook because we wanted to create something for our family that would allow us to have fun together every day, while providing some much-needed baby and kids' goods to our growing coastal community.
Everything that we love to do, from surfing to camping, depends on the preservation of our planet's natural beauty and ecosystems. With consumption, fast fashion, and the environment in mind, our intention has always been to provide as many awesome local and eco-friendly options as possible.
Our backgrounds in the surf industry, retail, and marketing, plus our experience of becoming first time parents out here on the West Coast sparked the idea for this little shop, and we hope your family finds something they love so much that it becomes a cherished hand-me-down!
